Air IndiaEmployee withdraw strike call after payment of dues

Air India employees have decided to withdraw the strike call after they were paid the outstanding dues in lieu of flying allowances, according to a news18 report.

On Friday morning, the Air India Pilots Association ICPA had written a letter to the Air India chairman and managing director, and to the management threatening to go on a strike as flying allowances were not paid, a ZeeBiz report had reported.
ICPA represents about 800 pilots of the airline.

According to news18 report, Air India management depositted the dues within hours of the strike threat.

Pilots had earlier claimed that they were promised payments by April 10 but had not received anything till Friday morning.
